MEBAA CONFERENCE DUBAI TO DRIVE BUSINESS AVIATION FORWARD

The MEBAA Conference Dubai, taking place 11-12 December during the MEBAA Show, will focus on business aviation in the MENA region and the global market.

The MEBAA Conference Dubai, taking place 11-12 December during the MEBAA Show, will focus on business aviation in the MENA region and the global market, to equip attendees with both knowledge on the latest trends and innovations in the industry.

Business aviation in the Middle East is poised to benefit from growth as a result of Expo 2020, which will attract a boost in private jet bookings as a result of the increased travellers to the emirate. The UAE already hosts around 50,000 ultra high net worth UHNW passengers per year, leading to about 30,600 private jet flights out of the Dubai in 2017.

The agenda at the MEBAA Conference Dubai has been specially developed to meet the needs of the market, analysing the latest trends and regulations in the market and the potential of supersonic business jets, among other topics.

There will also be a focus on new technologies and how they affect the industry, with blockchain and cyber security assessed in detail. The blockchain session in particular will first look at how it is being used in other industries before examining the benefits it can offer aviation as well as advising attendees how it can be applied to their companies.

Attendees will also benefit from hearing the latest on innovation. ‘From cockpit to cabin’ will investigate where the opportunities for innovation lie, while the session will also look at those outside of the aircraft itself, in terms of customer service and passenger experience.

“The MEBAA Conferences across the Middle East and North Africa have developed a reputation for being the place to discover and develop knowledge in business aviation,” said Ali Alnaqbi, Founding & Executive Chairman of the Middle East & North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA). He continued, “The agenda for this year’s Dubai conference is already demonstrating that this will continue to be a must-attend event for anyone in the industry.”
